Allison Family Fund
Established in 2007 by George & Jetta Allison. Mr. & Mrs. Allison and their children and grandchildren will make annual recommendations for grants from this fund.
Irene & Arthur Kelley Beech Cemetery Fund
Established in 2000 by Mrs. Irene Kelly to provide upkeep, repair & restoration of the cemetery.
Bill & Bettie MacMorran Fund
Established in 2002 by the MacMorran family to honor their parents and to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Bob Babbs Community Fund
Established in 2002 by the Babbs family to honor Bob and to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Boston Scientific Child Care Fund
Established in 1997 by Boston Scientific Corp. in support of training of child care providers and acquisition of supplies, related materials and EMS service.
Cancer Support Fund in Memory of Zachary Tucker
Established in 2007 by Gib & Phyllis Tucker to honor the full but short life of their grandson Zachary Tucker. This fund will provide gift and gas cards to help ease the financial strain of cancer treatment to Owen County families who are referred from hospitals and cancer treatment centers.
Coal City-Jefferson Township Fund
Established in 2006 to support projects in Coal City & Jefferson Township. This is the first new "area fund" similar to the Gosport Fund that the OCCF board hopes to start for several geographical areas throughout Owen County.
Community Fund
This is the main fund of the Community Foundation which makes grants to help make Owen County communities become better places to grow, work and live.
Community Medical Fund
Established in 2000 to provide for the medical care and related services of the citizenry of Owen County.
DeCoursey Operating Endowment Fund
Established in 1998 to provide an annual grant to OCCF's Operating Endowment fund.
DMJ Community Fund
Established in 2003 by Don, Marilyn & Jennifer Jackson to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Economic Development Fund
Established in 1998 with the balance of monies left with the dissolution of the Washington/Clay Sewer Advisory Board, to promote economic development in Owen County.
Fire & Emergency Fund
Established in 1997 to provide grants for area fire departments to purchase fire fighting equipment.
Flona Everly Query Fund
Established in 2008 by the family of Flona Everly Query to provide an annual grant to the Vandalia Preservation Association to maintain the Vandalia church and schoolhouse.
Freeman Charitable Food Fund
Established in 2006 through the estate of Joe Freeman, a life-long friend of Owen County, to provide food for the poor of Owen County.
Gosport Fund
Established in 1996 by Gosport residents to provide support to any charitable organization in Gosport, Wayne or Harrison Township.
Hackworthy Family Community Fund
Established in 2002 by John & Cindy Hackworthy to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
J. Welch Wampler Fund
Established in 1999 by the Wampler family to honor J. Welch Wampler and to help maintain the Ferry Bridge or support projects in the Gosport area.
Jack R. DeFord Library Fund
Established in 2006 by the DeFord family and Insurance Services to support SOCS transportation to Owen Co. Public Library for instruction on library sciences.
Jack Simmerman Community Fund
Established in 2002 by the board of directors of OCCF to honor Jack's contributions to the founding of the organization and to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Jim Vance Owen County YMCA Fund
Established in 2004 as a memorial to Jim Vance to support the Owen County Family YMCA.
John R. & Elizabeth Rogers Fund
Established in 2000 by John R. & Elizabeth P. Rogers to provide support to the needy, (food, housing or clothing) with 1/2 of each annual grant amount going back into this endowed fund until it reaches $100,000.
John T. Gillaspy Memorial Fund
Established in 2006 in memory of John T. Gillaspy to provide for the general good of Owen County.
Muriel MacMorran Sare Fund
Established in 2002 by the MacMorran family to honor their aunt and to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Owen County Education Fund
Established in 1997 to provide annual support to SOCS teachers through mini-grants, which are grants given twice each year, in the amount of $50-$250 to enhance our students classroom learning experiences.
Owen County Ministerial Fund
Established in 1997 by Julian & Faye Duling to provide annual support to the Owen County Ministerial Association.
Owen Valley Jr ROTC Fund
Established in 2006 by local supporters of the Owen Valley youth organization to provide an annual grant to cover expenses of the group.

Started in 1997 with a grant from the SCI REMC RoundUp Fund to provide support for Owen County residents with special needs.

Smithville Telephone Co., Inc. Community Fund
Established in 2002 by Smithville Telephone Co., Inc. to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
St. Jude Catholic Church Fund
Established in 2000 by John & Cindy Hackworthy to provide annual support for special projects of the parish.
Tom & Jo Douglas Fund
Established in 2007 by the many friends of Tom & Jo Douglas to honor their contributions to Owen County throughout the years. Tom & Jo will make annual recommendations for grants from the fund.
Wells Family Fund
Established in 2002 by Gordon & Diane Wells to provide annual grants to meet community needs.
Willie & Pat White Fund
Established in 2004 by the family of Willie and Pat White as a way to honor their parents. The family makes annual recommendations for grants from the fund.

Established in 1999 by the Fortnightly Club Gosport History Museum to provide perpetual support to the Gosport History Museum.
Owen County Community Foundation Operating Endowment Fund
Established in 2000 by the board of directors of OCCF to provide perpetual operating funds for the Community Foundation.
Owen County Community Foundation Operating Fund
Provides funding for current year operations of the OCCF.
Owen County Humane Society Fund
Established in 1998 to support animal neutering at the Owen County Humane Society.
Owen County Learning Network Fund
Established in 2000 with a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to provide perpetual support to the Owen County Learning Network.
Owen County Preservation Fund
Established in 2005 to provide perpetual support to Owen County Preservations, Inc.
Senior Friends of Owen County Fund
Established in 2004 to provide perpetual support to the Senior Friends of Owen County.

Owen County CASA Fund
Pass-through fund established in 2006 to provide direct support to the Owen County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.
Owen County Heritage & Culture Center Fund
Established in 2006 to provide a way for supporters of the new organization to make charitable gifts for the project.
Disaster Recovery Fund
Established in July, 2008 to receive monies for Owen County's Disaster Recovery from the flooding of June, 2008.

Braysville Extension Homemakers Club Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 to award a scholarship to an OVHS senior who resides in Owen County and will be attending a vocational school.
Charles T. Cooper Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 and will pay out for the first time in 2009.
Charles W. Edwards Scholarship Fund
A fund established in 1998 was changed to a scholarship fund in 2006, to provide an award for high academic performance to an Owen County high school senior pursuing a degree in law or a law-related field.
Coyne Family Fund
Established in 2005 by family members in memory of Marion Annette Coyne, to provide a scholarship beginning 2012 to an Owen County high school senior pursuing degree work at an accredited college or university resulting in qualification to be certified to teach in the field of special education.
David Campbell Gray Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003 to award a scholarship to an OVHS senior who resides in Gosport or Wayne Township.
Elliott Hickam Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior pursuing a degree from IU and who exhibits outstanding leadership qualities.
Freedom Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 to provide an award to an Owen County high school senior who is a descendent of a Freedom Alumni.
Gosport Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 to provide an award to an Owen County high school senior who is a descendent of a Gosport Alumni.
Gosport Lions Club Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who is a resident of Gosport or Wayne Township.
Ione W. Fulk Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior pursuing a four-year degree at any school of higher education in the state of Indiana, majoring in elementary education.
James P. Root Scholarship Fund
Established in 2002 in honor of Pastor James P. Root to provide a scholarship to a resident of Owen, Monroe, Greene or Lawrence counties to pursue a career in fulltime christian service who will be attending a school affiliated with Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.
Jefferson Township/Coal City Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 by alumni of Coal City High School to provide a scholarship to a descendant of a Coal City alumni or a resident of Jefferson Township.
Jeffrey Wayne Johnson Scholarship Fund
This fund is being established by the family of Jeffrey Wayne Johnson, in his memory.
Jim Fulford Scholarship Fund
Established in 2004 by OCCF to honor Mr. Fulford for his contributions as the first executive director and to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior attending a four-year degree program in the field of education.
Joe Carmichael Sons of the American Legion Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to fund an annual scholarship.
John Moore Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 to honor Mr. Moore’s contributions as a coach and teacher and to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who has been a student athlete and plans to attend a four year school in Indiana.
Josephine Brown Owens Scholarship Fund
Established in 1990 by Josephine Brown Owens to award the OVHS senior with the highest grades accumulated in four years of high school mathematics.
Judy Hamilton Education Scholarship Fund
Judy Hamilton, who served on OCCF's Board of Directors for several years, made arrangements for this scholarship fund in her will.
Loretta Heidrick Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by Ronald & Dolores Heidrick in memory of their sister to provide a scholarship to any Owen County student pursuing a degree in education, preferably elementary education.
Lyle & Marion Brighton Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 by John & Carol Brown, in honor of her parents, Lyle & Marion Brighton, long-time residents of Gosport, to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior continuing their education.
Major Abraham Owen Chapter DAR Scholarship Fund
Begun in 2002, fund is being built up by DAR members to eventually provide a local scholarship.
Margaret Marley Pinkston Scholarship Fund
Established in 2006 to provide a scholarship to an Owen County student, including one already attending college, enrolled in or enrolling in a four-year course of study.
Mearl & Laverne Brown Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 by John & Carol Brown, in honor of his parents, Mearl & Laverne Brown, long-time residents of Gosport, to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior continuing their education.
Melvin R. and Margaret A. Hall Nursing Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by Mr. & Mrs. Melvin R. Hall to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who will be studying in the field of nursing.
Michael Job Vocational Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 by Michael Job to provide a scholarship to an Owen County senior who is pursuing an education at a vocational school.
Myrtle S. Marshall Scholarship Fund
Established in 2003 to provide a scholarship to the outstanding business student at OVHS.
Owen Community Bank, sb Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to provide a scholarship to a college-bound Owen County high school senior.
Owen County IU Varsity Club Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to provide a scholarship to a male and to a female OVHS senior who will be attending Indiana University.
Owen Valley Alumni Scholarship Fund
Begun in 2003, fund is being built up by OVHS Alumni to eventually provide a local scholarship.
Owen Valley FFA Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 by an anonymous donor to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who is a member in good standing of the OV FFA Chapter.
Patrick Booher Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in 2004 in memory of Patrick Booher to provide a scholarship to any OVHS senior with “average” grades but an above average drive to get an education.
Patricksburg Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 to provide a scholarship to a high school senior who is a descendant of a Patricksburg Alumni.
Quincy Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1998 to provide a scholarship to a high school senior who is a descendant of a Quincy Alumni.
Robert & Barbara Stanley Bonness Scholarship Fund
Established by Robert Barbara Stanley Bonness to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior whose class ranking is in the second 10% (11% to 20%) who will be attending any Purdue University campus in pursuit of a four-year degree in the College of Agriculture or College of Consumer Sciences. This scholarship is paid out in four annual installments.
Roma Wilson Scholarship Fund
Established by the Wilson family to honor the memory of their mother, Roma. Preference for this award will be given to a single mother trying to advance her education.
Spencer Alumni Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 to provide a scholarship to a high school senior who is a descendant of a Spencer Alumni.
Vada Baker Scholarship Fund
Established in 2007 to honor Vada Baker and her contributions to Gosport as an educator. The first pay-out from this fund will be in 2009.
West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by the local business to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who is continuing their education at college.
Woody & Barry Franklin Scholarship Fund
Established in 2000 to provide a scholarship to an OVHS senior who resides in Franklin Township and will be studying a four-year business program.
